Once again the mighty Reds managed to stick 4 goals through the back of a mediocre opposition’s net. Roll on Saturday, when we can do the same against Arsenal…oh….erm…might not be happening.
World series news now…and having watched the 1st 3 games over the weekend, I’m now itching to see the 4th tonight on tape delay. I haven’t quite managed to avoid the result though…but…shhhh… don’t tell the wife. Boston are in the ascendency having battered Colorado in the first game, sneak through in the second and overpower them in the third. I can’t see this fourth game going any other way to be honest, but it all depends who is pitching. I called Boston 4-0 before the series, but didn’t put any money on it like a fool. It could happen now. Let’s see.
It’s a good job that the ball did not actually go “through the back of the net ” unless someone would have been seriously injured as a result of Nani’s rocket first goal!!
What on earth is a “Manc” doing spending precious soccer-watching time on rounders for fat guys. Please don’t start spouting on about “football” (rugby for soft, fat guys who have to wear padding and helmets) or lacrosse (a girl’s game turned into an excuse for a fight by adding (surprise, surprise) padding and helmets).
